Directions to get by bus from Cagliari-Elmas Airport (http://www.cagliari-airport.com, http://www.sogaer.it/en) to the Hotel Flamingo:
Cagliari is easily accessible by train from the airport thanks to the new ‘Cagliari-Elmas Aeroporto’ railway station. The rail service starts at about 5AM and ends after 9PM with 20 mins. average frequency. The journey to and from downtown takes 5-7 mins, single fare is 1.30 euro. Tickets are sold by Trenitalia at the vending machines (located both in the Arrivals area of the air terminal and inside the train station), online and by official ticket counters and authorized dealers. The airport train station is just a 5 minutes walk from the air terminal. The bus station (ARST) in Cagliari is opposite the train station on the right (see map below).
From the bus station take the ARST (http://www.arst.sardegna.it/index.html) bus to Sant’Anna Arresi (bus 129, single fare is 3.10 euro, Timetable Bus 129) that in 50 minutes takes you to Santa Margherita di Pula. From the bus stop in Santa Margherita di Pula there will be a transfer to the Hotel Flamingo.
The taxi from Cagliari Airport to the Hotel Flamingo will cost aproximately €85.
Directions to get by car from Cagliari-Elmas Airport (http://www.cagliari-airport.com, http://www.sogaer.it/en) to the Hotel Flamingo:
Take the airport exit (via the Trasvolatori), proceede towards Cagliari on SS130 taking the ramp on the right. Once entered in the 4-lane road continue for about 4.6 km. Keep left at the fork, follow the signs for the SS195/Pula and enter the SS195. Drive on the SS195 road towards Pula. Overcome the town of Pula without entering the village and turn left at the km 33.800. You will find the hotel entrance after about 1 km.
Passports and Visa
Conference attendees who need a visa to enter Italy are strongly advised to make their application in their home country quite in advance before the intended date of travel. For information, please consult your nearest Italian Embassy or Consulate or your travel agency.
