It is our great pleasure to announce and welcome you to the 14th International Conference on the Chemistry of Selenium and Tellurium (ICCST-14), which will be held for the first time in Italy on the 3rd-7th June 2019 at the Hotel Resort Flamingo, Santa Margherita di Pula (CA), Sardinia (Italy).
The ICCST, whose first edition was held in1971 in New York City, is a well-established conference dealing with all aspects of the chemistry involving selenium and tellurium from small molecules to biomolecules and materials.
Previous Editions of this Conference were held in New York (1971), Lund (1975), Metz (1979), Birmingham (1983), Oak Ridge (1987), Osaka (1991), Aachen (1997), Aguas de Sao Pedro (2000), Mumbai (2004), Ludz (2007), Oulu (2010), Cardiff (2013), and Gifu (2016). The ICCST-14 will continue the same tradition offering a scientific program with the latest developments in the field from applications in organic and inorganic synthesis to material sciences, biological systems, theoretical, spectroscopic and mechanistic studies.
We hope you will be able to join this event and enjoy the stimulating scientific program. We strongly encourage the participation of young scientists who will actively disseminate their results in oral and poster presentations.
The conference is organized under the patronage of the University of Cagliari (http://www.unica.it/), the Department of Chemical and Geological Science (http://dipartimenti.unica.it/scienzechimicheegeologiche/) of the University of Cagliari, and the Consorzio Interuniversitario per la Scienza e Tecnologia dei materiali (INSTM) (http://www.instm.it/)). The meeting will take place at the Hotel Flamingo Resort (http://www.hotelflamingo.it/) in Santa Margherita di Pula. Welcome party, poster session, lunches, and dinners will all be held at the Conference site.
