Directions to get by bus from Cagliari airport to the city center:
Cagliari is easily accessible by train from the airport thanks to the new ‘Elmas Aeroporto’ railway station. The rail service starts at about 5AM and ends after 9PM with 20 mins. average frequency. The journey to and from downtown takes 5-7 mins, single fare is 1.30 euro. Tickets are sold by Trenitalia at the vending machines (located both in the Arrivals area of the air terminal and inside the train station), online and by official ticket counters and authorized dealers. The airport train station is just a 5 minutes walk from the air terminal. The taxi from Cagliari Airport to the City center will cost aproximately €20.

The Workshop will be held at the University of Cagliari, Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato, Block A, Room 110.
How to get to Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato from the city center.
Option 1:
Bus line 8 —–> Cittadella Universitaria
Take bus line 8 from the bus stop at Piazza Matteotti (in front of the train station) or from Largo Carlo Felice (in front of La Rinascente Department Store). Get down to the stop “Cittadella Universitaria“, block A of the University will be around 400 m away.
The duration of the travel will be approximately 55 mins.

If you forget to get down to that stop, do not worry because It is a single route, Policlinico Universitario will be the terminus of the route. In that case, you will find the workshop venue following the same direction you will find on the map for option 2.
Option 2:
Bus line 30/31 + MetroCA —–> Cittadella Universitaria
Take the bus line 30/31 from the bus terminus (Piazza Matteotti in front of the train station) direction Brigata Sassari. Get down at Dante (fermata metro) stop. You will find the city metro station in front of the bus stop. Take the metro direction Policlinico (10 stops to arrive).
The duration of the travel will be approximately 45 mins.

Option 3:
Bus line 1 + Bus line University Express —–> Cittadella Universitaria
Take bus line 1 from the bus stop site in Via Roma (in front of the train station) or from Largo Carlo Felice (in front of La Rinascente Department Store) direction Brotzu Hospital (Terminus of the bus line 1). Get down to the bus stop Cornalias (acquedotto), and then walk to the bus stop of the University Express line in Via Cornalias (at the corner with Via Perugino). Take the University Express bus line from here to Cittadella Universitaria, and get down to the stop “Cittadella Universitaria – Lato Biblioteca” (after 7 stops). The Workshop Venue will be in front of the bus stop.
Do not worry if you get down to the next bus stop, it will be only 100/200 meters far from the previous stop).
The duration of the travel will be approximately 45 mins.
Whatever your travel choice will be to reach the Workshop from the Cagliari city center, you will be able to get the Workshop Venue typing on GoogleMaps “Blocco A – Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato”
You can buy the bus ticket at any kiosk/newsagent’s. Ask for a daily ticket (biglietto giornaliero, € 3,30)
