OPENING CEREMONY AND FIRST PLENARY LECTURE
Given the international relevance of the Conference, the University of Cagliari and the University Library have kindly granted us the use of two adjoining historic rooms for the Conference opening ceremony and the first plenary lecture. These rooms, which will be connected by videoconferencing, are the Aula Magna of the main building of the University of Cagliari, richly furnished and decorated (http://www.sardegnacultura.it/j/v/253?s=18298&v=2&c=2488&c1=2123&visb=&t=1), and the Sala Settecentesca of the University Library, built and furnished in the late 18th century (http://www.cagliariturismo.it/it/vivi-cagliari/servizi-307/biblioteche-110/biblioteca-universitaria-51).
Both rooms are situated in Via Università 40 in the Old Town, and are five-minutes’ walk from the main venue, in Via San Giorgio 12.
PLENARY LECTURES AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Given the large number of PALAns and colleagues registered for the Conference, the plenary lectures from Thursday 28th July to Saturday 30th July and the Annual General Meeting on 30th July will take place in Aula Virgilio Costa.
Aula Virgilio Costa is a big lecture room in Via Ospedale, two-minutes’ walk from the main venue.
