How to Reach the Conference Venue (see Maps below)
The conference will take place at the Cittadella Universitaria di Monserrato, University of Cagliari.
From Cagliari Airport (CAG)
Recommended option (fastest): Follow the signs inside the airport to the railway station “Elmas Aeroporto”.
Take any regional train to Cagliari Centrale (journey time approximately 6–10 minutes, trains every 20 minutes).
From Piazza Matteotti (in front of the railway station), take:
Bus Line 8 (destination: Cittadella Universitaria) (see details belows for Option 1)
Taxi. A taxi from Cagliari Elmas Airport to the University campus takes approximately 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.
From the city:
Option 1 – Direct Bus
Take CTM Bus Line 8 from Piazza Matteotti or Largo Carlo Felice and get off at “Cittadella Universitaria”. Travel time is approximately 50–55 minutes.
Option 2 – Bus + Metro (Recommended)
Take CTM Bus 30 or 31 from Piazza Matteotti.
Get off at the Metro station “Dante”.
Take the Metro towards Policlinico.
Walk a few minutes from the terminus to the MACCS3 conference venue (Aula rossa congressi- blocco I)
