Venue

The  venues of the conference will be  the  Aula Roberto Coroneo in the Cittadella dei Musei (Via Arsenale, 1) and the Sala settecentesca of the Biblioteca Universitaria di Cagliari (Via Università, 32).

Airport transfer

Elmas Airport is about 10 minutes drive from the city center. The easiest way to get from the Airport to Cagliari is via taxi. The cost of a one way trip is approximately 20 euros.

A train line is also available and allows to reach the Central Station in about 6 minutes. Trains are available between 6AM and 9PM. The railway station is in the centre of the city (Piazza Matteotti), a 15 minute walk from the Biblioteca Universitaria  and from the Cittadella dei Musei, both in the historic district of Castello.

Bus n. 7 or n. 8 can be taken to reach the district of Castello.

The city of Cagliari

Cagliari is located in the south of Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, at the heart of the beautiful Bay of the Angels.   The seaside includes one of the largest sandy beaches of the island, the Poetto. The city displays several archeological areas and medieval monuments.

The Cittadella dei Musei and the Biblioteca Univeristaria are situated in  the oldest of the four historic  districts of the city,  Castello, where it is possible to admire, among others,  the Bastione Saint Remy,  the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the Royal Palace, the archeological museum.
