located in the city of <strong>Cagliari<\/strong>, on the southern coast of the island of <strong>Sardinia, Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Cagliari is a major academic institution in the Mediterranean region and offers a stimulating environment for international scientific exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The symposium sessions will be hosted within the facilities of the <strong>Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering (DICAAR)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Cagliari<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cagliari is the capital of Sardinia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sardinia is one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean and offers unique natural and cultural attractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants may wish to extend their stay to explore:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the beaches of southern Sardinia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>archaeological sites such as <strong>Nora<\/strong> and <strong>Barumini<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>traditional villages and local gastronomy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Further information on local attractions and activities will be provided closer to the
